An accountant in a previous life, Nina has 20 years experience in the IT field over which half has been solely in Business Analysis. Unlike many of her colleagues, Nina came from the business side of IT rather than the technical. Along the way there have been dalliances in the Project Management and Systems Analysis space but Business Analysis has always won out because of the problem solving nature of the work involved.
While possessing a strong skill set, Nina particularly enjoys the requirements gathering and analysis processes. Having the chance to work closely with stakeholders to nut out the problem, and develop innovative ideas to deliver a successful solution to the client sees Nina in her element!
An easy-going and sociable person, Nina keeps herself busy outside of work hanging out with her kids, researching her Whakapapa and whanau history and supporting/contributing to her extended whanau and marae. For her own personal time out she hits the gym, specifically the aerobics floor which is more an exercise in dance than strictly exercise.
